These details are taken from the legal notice. They appear here because terms of use have to stand on their own: you should know who you are agreeing with without leaving the document.
1. Purpose
Fab is a mobile app that aggregates and compares the prices of private-hire (VTC), rideshare and taxi services. It lets users view, compare and access the offers of several transport providers (Uber, Bolt, Heetch, Freenow, G7, LeCab, Comin, Cabify, Lyft, Empower and Waymo) from a single interface.
Fab does not provide any transport service. The app acts solely as a technical intermediary that displays prices and redirects you to partner apps to book.
2. Acceptance
Using Fab implies full acceptance of these terms of use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
3. Registration and account
To access the comparison features, you must create a Fab account using an email address or a Google/Apple sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
You may connect your VTC provider accounts (Uber, Bolt, etc.) to personalise your results. Provider connections are protected: depending on the provider, access tokens are either encrypted on our servers or kept only on your device. Fab does not store your provider passwords on its servers.
4. How the service works
Fab queries the APIs and services of the VTC providers whose accounts you have connected, then puts their prices side by side. Displayed prices are indicative and may vary between the moment you view them and the moment you actually book on the provider's platform.
Fab does not guarantee:
- The permanent availability of every provider's prices
- The absolute accuracy of displayed fares (dynamic pricing)
- The availability of a driver at the time of booking
5. Intellectual property
All elements of the Fab app (design, code, brand, logo) are the exclusive property of Fab. Provider trademarks (Uber, Bolt, etc.) belong to their respective owners.
6. Liability
Fab cannot be held liable for the transport services provided by partner providers. Any dispute relating to a ride must be addressed directly to the provider concerned.
Fab strives to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance or updates may cause temporary interruptions.
7. Pricing
Using Fab is free. Fab reserves the right to introduce paid premium features, which will be clearly identified before any purchase.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Deletion erases all personal data and provider connection tokens.
9. Changes to these terms
Fab reserves the right to amend these terms. Users will be informed of any substantial change. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the French courts having jurisdiction under ordinary law.
