Yes. Fab asks Uber and Lyft for their price at the same time, along with the other ride apps you link, and lines them up on a single screen. You enter your pickup and destination once, and Fab asks each app you have linked for the price it would charge you right now, surge and promotions included, then sorts them cheapest first. Instead of opening Uber, then Lyft, then guessing, Fab lines them up in one glance, cheapest first, and lets you book in the app you choose.
Fab is the app that compares rideshare prices across your apps at once, on one screen: Uber, Bolt, Heetch, Freenow, G7, LeCab, Comin, Cabify, Lyft, Empower, Waymo, Grab, DiDi and Tesla Robotaxi. It's free, independent, takes no commission and shows the real fares rather than rough estimates. You compare in Fab, then tap through to book in the app you choose, so you never pay the first price you see.
Uber, Bolt, Heetch, Freenow, G7, LeCab, Comin, Cabify, Lyft, Empower, Waymo, Grab, DiDi and Tesla Robotaxi. Fab shows the ones available where you are.
There's no permanent winner: whether Uber or Bolt is cheaper changes with the trip, the time of day, demand and promotions. Bolt often runs lower base fares, but Uber can win with a promo, a different vehicle class or outside peak hours. Rather than guess, Fab asks Uber, Bolt and the other apps you link for their price at the same time, so you see their fares side by side when you look for a ride.
See the Uber vs Bolt breakdown →The only reliable way to find the cheapest ride is to compare every app before you book, because the same trip can vary by two-to-one from one app to the next and minute to minute. Watch for active promotions, avoid surge windows when you can, and check taxi options too, since they sometimes beat rideshare. Fab does all of this at once: it asks your apps for their price and lines them up side by side for your exact trip.
It depends on the moment. A taxi runs on a regulated meter (base fare + distance + waiting), while Uber quotes an upfront price that rises with demand, so a taxi can beat Uber during heavy surge and Uber can beat a taxi at quiet times. There's no single answer for every trip, which is why Fab compares taxis (Freenow, G7) and rideshare side by side and shows the cheaper option for the ride you actually want.
Enter your pickup and destination once in Fab and it queries Uber and Lyft simultaneously, returning both fares at the same time instead of you flipping between two apps. Fab lines them up cheapest first, surge and promos included, and adds the other apps you link to the comparison. When you've seen which is lower, you tap through and book in that app. Fab takes no commission and never changes your fare.
Sometimes. Freenow books licensed taxis on a regulated meter, so it can undercut Uber when Uber is surging, but Uber may be cheaper at off-peak times or with a promo. Neither is always the winner. Fab asks Freenow, Uber and the other apps you link for their price at the same time, so you see the real fares side by side for your trip instead of assuming one is always cheaper.
An Uber to the airport typically costs somewhere around 35 to 60 € for a central Paris to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle trip, or roughly 30 to 50 € to Orly, with more at peak times or at night. Airport fares swing the most between apps, so the exact number depends heavily on the moment. Fab shows the real price from your apps for your specific airport run rather than a rough range.
See the airport price guide →From the airport it can go either way. Paris taxis charge a fixed regulated flat fare of about 56 € (Right Bank) or 65 € (Left Bank) from CDG, which can beat a surging Uber, while Uber may come in lower off-peak. Long airport trips show the biggest gaps between apps, so comparing both taxi and rideshare is where you save most: Fab lines them up side by side and shows the cheaper one for your exact trip.
Rideshare prices are lowest when demand is low relative to available drivers: typically mid-morning, early afternoon and other off-peak windows. Surge pricing kicks in when demand outstrips supply (rush hour, late nights, rain, big events), multiplying the base fare, and each app surges differently at the same time. The cheapest app at 2 a.m. isn't the cheapest one at midday, so comparing before you book is even more worthwhile during peaks, and that is exactly what Fab does across your apps.
The cheapest way to book a ride to the airport is to compare every app before you leave and, ideally, schedule the trip ahead so you lock a confirmed price outside surge windows. Check taxi flat fares against rideshare too, since one often undercuts the other on long airport runs. Fab compares immediate rides across your apps in one place, and scheduled rides with Uber, Bolt, Freenow and G7, so you can see the fares side by side and book your airport ride in advance.
Yes. Fab puts Uber, Bolt and Freenow (plus the other apps you link) on one screen and asks each of them for its price at the same time. Instead of juggling three separate apps and checking each fare by hand, you enter your trip once and Fab sorts every option cheapest first. You still book in the original app, at its own price, so Fab simply saves you the back-and-forth and the guesswork.
You download Fab for free, then link the accounts of the apps you already use (Uber, Bolt, Freenow and so on): that is what lets Fab pull their prices for you. To book, you tap through to the app you choose. Fab takes no commission and always lets you pay the price shown by the original app. It handles the comparison, not your booking or payment.
Generic fare estimators are often off because they can't see live surge, active promotions or the exact vehicle class you'd pick. Fab is different: rather than estimating, it pulls the real fare each app would charge you at that moment, surge and promos included, so the price you see is the price you'd pay. That's why comparing in Fab is more reliable than any static estimate before you book.
